LOS BLANCOS PLAN FREE AGENT SIGNING SCARED LIVERPOOL.

Real Madrid are looking to bring in Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté, in pursuit of signing him as a free agent next summer, according to TeamTalk. His current deal with Liverpool runs out in 2026, but the Spanish giants are monitoring the situation as contract talks with Liverpool have yet to reach an agreement.

Liverpool, interested to keep the 25-year-old centre-back, have already offered him a new long-term contract that would run until June 2029 and include a big wage increase. However, Konaté hasn’t signed the deal yet and is said to be weighing up his options.

According to CaughtOffside, although no official bid has been made, Real Madrid could consider paying around £25 million to sign him early—instead of waiting for his deal to run down.

The French defender is reportedly open to the idea of joining Madrid, but for now, the situation remains undecided.
