AC Milan and Al-Hilal are interested in Darwin Nunez
Both AC Milan and Al-Hilal Showing interest to sign Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez negotiations underway. The Uruguayan forward signed for Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 for €75 million and could make a big switch this summer.
According to a report by SempreMilan, AC Milan are closely monitoring Darwin Nunez as they consider strengthening their attacking options.
Despite scoring 18 goals and 13 assists in last season, The Uruguayan forward has been criticized for inconsistency. AC Milan now want to bolster their attack and identify Núñez as the main target to spearhead the line at San Siro.
But AC Milan is not alone in this race. Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League have also joined the battle for the 25-year-old striker. Al-Hilal have been active in the market of late, securing a number of major signings from Europe, and may offer stiff financial competition.
Liverpool can entertain bids approx €70 million but no bid has been officially confirmed.
As the summer transfer window gathers momentum, Darwin Núñez’s future hangs in the balance with interest from Serie A and the Saudi league as well.
