Denzel Dumfries miss out Barca due to €25M Release Clause
Barcelona’s interest in Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries has hindered due to financial limitations. The Catalan giants were interested in bringing the Dutch international to Camp Nou, and Dumfries himself was reportedly keen on the move.
Due to the €25million release clause the transfer could not progress as Barcelona were unable to meet the clause set by Inter Milan. The club’s current financial constraints have limited their ability to make significant signings, particularly in defense.
Dumfries is happy in Inter Milan and is expected to only consider leaving Inter for an elite European club.
While the Barcelona is unable to meet the release clause, Dumfries will remain at Inter Milan unless another club steps in or the situation changes before the window closes.
