Andrea Berta has been handed what could prove to be a major boost to Arsenal’s chances of signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.

The latter joining Pep Guardiola’s team became a real possibility when Tottenham made a move for Savinho earlier this month. Having set their asking price at £70million, City would have plenty of funds to sign a replacement if that exit was green-lit with Rodrygo emerging as their top contender.
